हमारे पास 3x – 4y + 12 = 0 और 3x – 4y = 6⇒ 3x – 4y - 6 = 0 हैं।
∴ उनके बीच की दूरी =
= 18/5
माना कि, दी गयी रेखाओं के बीच में रेखा का समीकरण 3x - 4y + c = 0 है।
चूँकि यह मध्य में है, तो रेखा 3x – 4y + 12 = 0 से दूरी
