Length of the shape = AB + BC + arc CD

Calculation:

Given:

∵ Cos 60° = \(\frac{20}{BC}\)

⇒ \(\frac{1}{2}\) = \(\frac{20}{BC}\)

⇒ BC = 40 mm

Perimeter of a semi-circle = π × radius

⇒ Length of the arc BC = π × radius

⇒ Length of the arc BC = π × 14 = 44 mm

∴ Length of the shape = AB + BC + arc CD = 50 + 40 + 44 = 134 mm
