Let the potential across the 4Ω  resistor be Vx

Applying KVL across 4Ω  

\(\frac{10-Vx}{3}=\frac{Vx}{4}+\frac{Vx-5}{6}\)

\(40 - 4V_X=3 V_X+2 V_X -10\)

\(V_X=50/9 \) V

Current across 4Ω  resistor = \(\frac{50}{9\times 4}\) A
