Concept:

Area of a right angle triangle = \(\frac{1}{2}~\times~base~\times~height\)

Pythagoras theorem: (Hypotenuse)2 = (base)2 + (height)2

Calculation:

Given:

The sides of a right-angle triangle are 3 cm, 4 cm, and 5 cm

∵ 52 = 42 + 32

Sides satisfies Pythagoras' theorem.

So, Base = 3 cm, height = 4 cm

Area of right angle triangle = \(\frac{1}{2}~\times~base~\times~height\)
