Detailed Solution
Download Solution PDFSolution:
Cost Price (CP) of one fan = Total Cost Price / Number of Fans
= Rs. 24,000 / 12
= Rs. 2,000 per fan.
Marked Price (MP) of one fan = CP + 25% of CP
= Rs. 2,000 + 0.25 x Rs. 2,000
= Rs. 2,500 per fan.
Discounted Price (Selling Price) of one fan = MP - 10% of MP
= Rs. 2,500 - 0.10 x Rs. 2,500
= Rs. 2,250 per fan.
Total Selling Price for 12 fans = Selling Price per fan x Number of Fans
= Rs. 2,250 x 12
= Rs. 27,000.
Total Profit = Total Selling Price - Total Cost Price
= Rs. 27,000 - Rs. 24,000
= Rs. 3,000.
