• Candidates will be shortlisted for the online AP PGECET counseling procedure based on their performance in the Andhra Pradesh Postgraduate Engineering Common Entrance Test (AP PGECET) Rank.
• The qualified and eligible candidates of GATE / GPAT and APPGECET-2025 are informed to attend AP PGECET Counselling for admission into M.Tech/M.Pharmacy/Pharma D (PB) courses.
• Only the leftover seats after allotment for GATE / GPAT Candidates will be made available for AP PGECET-2025 candidates. The official notification itself is a call for counseling. No separate call letters will be sent to the individual candidates. Mere AP PGECET 2025 Counseling Registration does not guarantee a seat.

AP PGECET Counselling 2025 - Complete Process

The authorities had been conducting the AP PGECET Counselling 2025 in online mode. Candidates shortlisted based on the AP PGECET 2025 rank list are eligible for the AP PGECET counseling and seat allotment process. Step 1: AP PGECET Counselling Registration

Shortlisted candidates have to register themselves on the web counselling portal by providing the hall ticket number, rank, and the payment of a fee. Candidates (GATE/GPAT) must pay the registration fee online from. 

• Registration Fee for SC/ST candidates is Rs.700/- and for others Rs.1200/-.
• GATE & GPAT-qualified candidates must pay online counseling fees.
• Counseling fees shall be paid online using credit card/debit card/net banking options.

Step 2: Certificate verification

After registration, candidates must undergo the certificate verification process. As per the official notification, the certification process is done online mode. The transaction ID must be uploaded at the time of attending certificate verification. Candidates in the special category must provide all the required documents mentioned below. AP PGECET Counselling Centers are also available for candidates to help with their counselling process.

Special category candidates must provide the following certificate according to their category:

PH Category: Candidates have to produce a certificate issued by the District Medical Board and only candidates with a disability of 40% and above are eligible.

CAP Category: Ex-Service Personnel has to upload the following. Only candidates whose parents are domicile of AP are eligible to be considered under the “CAP” Category. 

1. Service Certificate issued by Zilla Sainik Welfare Officer 
2. Identity Card 
3. Discharge Book for verification Serving persons have to produce Service Certificates from the place of work indicating the relationship with the Candidate. 

NCC/SPORTS Category: Candidates must upload concerned certificates along with A,B,C Certificate(s).

Step 3: Choice filling

After verifying the documents/certificates, candidates must fill in their choices for colleges and programs. The candidates must visit the official website and choose the web option. A new window with relevant instructions will be opened. Candidates need to read the instructions carefully and click “I understand”. 

After this, the candidate has to fill in the hall ticket number, Mobile number on the newly opened window “Option form” and submit them. The options window displays all the available institutes and their offered courses. On completing the preferences, Click on the save button to freeze the options. Take the printout of your saved options for further reference.

Step 4: AP PGECET Seat Allotment

The candidates are allotted seats based on their AP PGECET 2022 rank, preferences, and available seats. The authorities process the options selected by the candidates, and the final result will be announced on the official website. Then candidates must take the printout of the provisional allotted copy and report to the respective institute.

What Options will be Available after AP PGECET Seat Allotment? 

After seat allotment, the following steps have to follow- 

• Fee Remittance- Once the preferred seat is allotted, the candidates must download the allotment order along with the fee challan for the preferred institute. Fee can be payable at any branch of Andra Bank/ Indian Bank
• Reporting at the College- After counselling, candidates must report to the allotted colleges as per the schedule, along with all the required documents for the Document verification process and provisional allotment copy.

AP PGECET 2025 seat allotment result has been released online for every phase. Candidates could check their allotment results by logging in to the website. The candidates are allotted seats based on their AP PGECET 2025 rank, preferences, and available seats.
