UP Police SI Apply Online 2025

Applicants have to fill out the application form via online mode. To apply for the UP Police SI Exam, candidates must first meet the eligibility criteria set by the exam conducting authority. Following are the steps to do so.

Step 1: Register Online on UPPRPB Website

Visit the official website of the UP Police and click on the registration link which is available on the homepage. Click on the link to apply for UP Police SI Recruitment. Click on 'New Registration' and register yourself by providing the required details.

In this first stage of registration, candidates need to fill in details such as name, father’s name, mother’s name, DOB, Gender, marital status, category, AADHAR No. and communication information like address, mobile no., e-mail ID, Educational Qualification, preferential qualification and address. 

Step 2: Login & OTP Activation

After entering the required details click on ‘Next’ button to see a preview of the details entered for verification. Once submitted the registration number will be generated and OTP will be sent to the registered mobile number and email ID.

Step 3: Fill Out UP Police Constable Application Form

Once the candidates have generated an OTP, they can activate his/her application by using the “Activate through OTP” option in the portal. The candidate can proceed further after the activation of application. Login with the credentials provided during registration. Enter all the required details in the UP Police Constable application form. 

Step 4: Pay UP SI Application Fee

Pay the required application fee as per your category. Payment can be done only through SBI Payment Gateway. There is no refund for candidates who make multiple payments. After completion of payment, the Registration number will be generated and the candidate can take print of his application.

Step 5: Upload Required Documents

After successful completion of payment, candidate must login and upload scanned copy of his/ her photo, signature and applicable documents and complete the registration process Candidate should take print of the acknowledgement (Application) and keep it for all future references. UP Police SI Application Fee 2025

The candidates who are applying for the post of UP Police SI recruitment will have to pay an application fee. The application fee should be paid online at the time of submitting the application. The fee for all the candidates is  Rs. 400/- only.

Note: There will be no refund of the application fee, once paid by the candidates.

UP Police SI Selection Process 2025

The UP Police selection process comprises of Written Test, Documentation, Physical Standards Test, Computer Typing Test, & Shorthand Test.

Stage I - Offline Written Exam 

The written examination will be an offline objective-type paper for 400 marks in total.

Stage II - Document Verification & Physical Standards Test 

In this stage, candidates will have to provide all the documents they were required to upload at the time of registration. The candidate’s physical measurements will be tested by the board. 

Stage III - Computer Typing Test & Stenography Test

Candidates found successful in the scrutiny of records and physical standard test will appear in a computer typing test of a qualifying nature. The candidates who passed Computer Typing will be eligible to appear in the Stenography Test, which will also be qualifying in nature as prescribed in the educational qualification.
