Given:

Two numbers are in the ratio 15:11

One of them = 143

H.C.F. = 13

Formula used:

If two numbers are in the ratio a:b and their H.C.F. is H, then the numbers are:

First number = a × H

Second number = b × H

Calculation:

First number = 15 × 13 = 195

Second number = 11 × 13

⇒ Second number = 143

∴ The correct answer is Option (2).
