Considering statement (I),
Circumference of circle = 2πr
⇒ 2 × 22/7 × r = 44
⇒ r = 7 cm
Considering statement (II) and (III),
Area of circle = area of rectangle = length × breadth
⇒ π r2 = 14 × 11
⇒ (22/7) r2 = 154
⇒ r2 = 49
⇒ r = 7 cm
∴ The question can be answered using either (I) or (II) and (III)
