Laplace's law in electromagnetics, is also known as the Biot–Savart law which describes the magnetic field created by a steady current density. It also describes the interaction between a magnetic field and an electric current when they are applied at right angles to each other and to a conductor of electricity.

Concept:

Biot-Savart Law: The law that gives the magnetic field generated by a steady/constant electric current is known as Biot-savart law.
