Given : 

B buys 10 pens for ₹8 each.

10 erasers for ₹5 each.

Some sharpeners for ₹4 each.

Formula Used : 

Average = Sum of all observations/Number of observations

Calculation : 

⇒ 150 = 10 × 8 + 10 × 5 + 4 × x

⇒ 150 = 80 + 50 + 4x

⇒ 4x = 20

⇒ x = 5

Average = 150/(5 + 10 + 10) = 150/25 = 30/5 = 6

∴ The correct answer is 6.
