Side of the cube = 3

Formula Used:

Surface Area of a Cube = 6 × side2

Volume of a Cube = side3

Ratio = Surface Area / Volume

Calculation:

Surface Area = 6 × 32

Surface Area = 6 × 9

Surface Area = 54

Volume = 33

Volume = 27

Ratio = Surface Area / Volume

Ratio = 54 / 27

Ratio = 2 / 1

The ratio between the surface area and the volume of the cube is 2 ∶ 1.
