U-नलिका दाबांतरमापी:
(i)इसमें U आकार में एक काँच की नलिका होती है, जिसका एक सिरा गेज बिंदु से जुड़ा होता है और दूसरा सिरा वायुमंडल में खुला होता है।
(ii) नलिका में उस तरल पदार्थ से अधिक विशिष्ट गुरुत्व का तरल होता है जिसके दाब का मापन करना है।
(iii) दाबदर्शी तरल का चुनाव मापन किए जाने वाले दाब की सीमा पर निर्भर करता है कम दाब की सीमा के लिए, निचले SG के तरल का उपयोग किया जाता है और उच्च श्रेणी के लिए, आमतौर पर, पारे का उपयोग किया जाता है।
