Must have passed the 12th standard or equivalent examination from a recognized Board or University.

Note: Candidates must produce all the mark sheets, provisional certificates, etc in original as proof that they have qualified for the essential educational qualification as on or before the closing date of receipt of application.

SSC Stenographer Age Limit

For the SSC Stenographer exam, the age limit is calculated based on a specific reference date mentioned in the official notification. SSC Stenographer Nationality

Fulfilling SSC Stenographer Eligibility Criteria in terms of Nationality is equally important. The candidates can check out the below pointers to know if they are eligible or not.

  • An Indian Citizen or
  • A subject of Nepal/Bhutan or
  • A Tibetan refugee who had come over to India before 1 January 1962 with permanent intent of settling in India or
  • The candidate may be an Indian origin who migrated from Pakistan, Myanmar, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, Vietnam, etc with the intention to permanently settle in India.
