Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies(NMIMS) NPAT Eligibility Criteria 2022 specify requirements such as educational level, age restriction, and citizenship. A candidate must meet the NPAT Eligibility Criteria to be eligible to take the NPAT exam. The eligibility requirements for each of the courses that NMIMS NPAT provides admission to are different.

NPAT Eligibility Criteria 2022

The NMIMS NPAT Eligibility Criteria 2022 specify requirements such as educational level, age restriction, and citizenship. A candidate must meet the NMIMS NPAT Qualifying Criteria to be eligible to take the test. The eligibility requirements for each of the courses that NMIMS NPAT provides admission to are different. To be eligible to apply for the desired programme, candidates must meet the NMIMS NPAT Eligibility Requirements.

Educational Qualifications

The educational qualifications differ depending on the course that one has chosen. The NPAT exam offers courses at an undergraduate level and a postgraduate level. Given below are the educational qualifications based on the program one wishes to apply for:

• To be eligible for B.B.A., B.Com (Hons), or B.Sc. (Finance) admission through NMIMS NPAT 2023, you must have passed Mathematics/ Statistics in class 12 examinations or the equivalent.
• If you wish to apply for the Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, or Bengaluru campuses, you must have completed the 10+2 exam or a comparable test with Mathematics and Statistics as required subjects. 
• (Or) If you have an IB diploma, you can only apply for the NPAT if you have passed Standard Level Mathematics and Statistics (SL).

Age Limit Criteria

Age limit refers to the minimum or maximum age range that candidates belong to, to appear for the exam. This is to ensure that every candidate has an equal chance of getting a seat. Given below are the age ranges for undergraduate programs

Each exam has its age limit criteria. For NMIMS, the minimum requirement is 17 years, and the upper age limit is 25 years. Candidates who are 25 years old and younger can appear for the exam however those who are older than 25 years old are not allowed to appear for the exam.

Number of Attempts

The number of attempts refers to the number of times candidates are allowed to appear for the examination. There may be different reasons as to why candidates appear for the exam, it could range from wanting to secure to get into better universities. Candidates are allowed to take the test a total of three times. The second and the third time that the candidates appear for the test, they must pay a fee. Candidates must try their best to clear the exam on the first try to ensure that they do not have to pay for the exam.

Aggregate Marks in Qualifying Examination

Aggregate marks in the qualifying examination refer to the minimum number of marks one needs to secure in the secondary high school or equivalent exam. Candidates must meet all the criteria, or else they are not eligible to attend the exam. Candidates who are applying for undergraduate courses must have the aggregate marks given below:

• B.Com (Hons) requires a minimum grade point average of 50%, whereas B.B.A. & B.Sc. (Finance) programmes require a minimum grade point average of 60%.
• If you have your GPA or CGPA form results, you should receive the corresponding percentage in writing from the relevant board or university.
• Suppose you have completed your class 12 or an equivalent exam from an open or distance learning school that is only recognised by the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS), subject to meeting programme eligibility requirements. In that case, you are eligible to take this test. 
• Candidates who completed their class 12 or an equivalent exam part-time, through distance learning, correspondence, externally, or from an open school that NIOS does not recognise are not.
• For verification of their eligibility, international school applicants should provide an AIU certificate of equivalence as equivalent to the class 12th examination.
• You can still apply even if you haven't received your mark sheet by submitting a provisional mark sheet, but you must also submit your original mark. 

NPAT Eligibility Criteria on Nationality

The exam is mainly for Indian Citizens. Candidates must meet all the criteria mentioned below. Candidates must be wary of the different eligibility criteria for each course that they apply for. Given below are the important criteria for each course.

• Class 12 or an equivalent test (including the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma in any stream) is required of applicants for the NPAT exam.
• Only candidates who have an IB diploma from a recognised board may submit it. Holders of IB certificates are ineligible to take the exam.
• Candidates who completed their 10+2 coursework through open or distance learning (ODL) are also qualified to apply for the exam. The National Institute of Open Schooling should in this instance recognise the institution (NIOS).
• Candidates who failed to pass the 10+2 test from the ICSE, CBSE, or IB in their first attempt are ineligible to take the NPAT exam.
• Candidates for the NPAT exam must possess a Class 12 diploma or an equivalent test, such as the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma in any stream.
• Only applicants with IB diplomas from accredited boards may submit them. IB certificate holders are not permitted to take the exam.
• The exam is offered to applicants who finished their 10+2 coursework through open or distance learning (ODL). In this case, the institution should be acknowledged by the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS).
• The NPAT exam is not open to applicants who failed their 10+2 exam from the ICSE, CBSE, or IB in their first attempt.

NPAT Eligibility Criteria for Foreign/NRI Students

NRI/Foreign students are not allowed to apply for the exam. Only Indian candidates are allowed to appear for the exam. The institute does not offer admission to candidates abroad. International candidates can look for other colleges within India that are accepting foreign/ NRI students. 

NPAT 2022 Reservation

There are no reservation criteria applicable for the exam. There is no mention of the exact percentile or percentage of marks that a candidate must score to become eligible for admission. Candidates will be notified about their admission status via mail or phone number. Candidates need to update their mobile phone numbers and email addresses to receive the due information. 

Documents Required for NPAT 2022

When filling out the NPAAT 2022 application, applicants must have the following list of documents at hand. They must be presented at the counselling website and during the time of admission. Given below are the important documents for undergraduates:

• Class 10 and 12 grade marks certificate and transfer certificate. 
• Proof of date of birth 
• Age Validation such as Aadhar card, Voter Id, Pan Card, Driving License or any other government recognised credentials
• A passport-sized recent photo in JPEG format as per specifications on the official website. 
• A JPEG image with a signature scan that is 200 pixels by 150 pixels in size
