A couple in Florida, US, was caught making out on the top of a grave in a historic cemetery. The couple allegedly had meth left unattended on the passenger seat of a car nearby, according to police.
Florida Highway Patrol was quoted in several media reports as saying that Joseph Luke Brown, 38, and Stephanie Kay Wegman, 46, of Webster were caught getting frisky on “unknown grave #43” at the Wild Cow Prairie Cemetery in Bushnell on March 26.
According to a police report quoted by ‘The Smoking Gun’, the individuals allegedly parked a Nissan, owned by Wegman, near the entrance of the historic cemetery. Notably, this historic cemetery contains graves dating back to 1850.
The couple was soon caught by a police officer, who initially noticed a car registered to Wegman and her husband, Anthony Johsnon, parked with its windows down and no one nearby, read the police report.

After interrupting the couple, a police officer reportedly discovered methamphetamine, Xanax, and Oxycodone hidden inside the car.
According to the report, Wegman was arrested on drug charges and booked into county jail. Meanwhile, Brown was transported from the cemetery to a hospital due to a “preexisting injury” to his leg. Police further informed that a warrant will be sought for Brown. However, the specific charges, he may face have not been disclosed.
Notably, this cemetery last saw a burial in 1924. Moreover, this cemetery was designated as a historic site and added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2021.
