Yousef shared his personal experience, having spent half his life in Palestinian society and the other half in the Jewish community. He criticized Palestinian culture, labeling it as one that glorifies death, often sacrificing children for political and financial agendas.
He also questioned why no one opposed Hezbollah’s violent actions when innocent lives were lost, particularly condemning Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah’s decisions.
A Spy for Israel: The “Green Prince”
Yousef’s journey to Israel began in 1997 when he secretly converted to Christianity and began working as a spy for Israel’s intelligence agency, Shin Bet. He later revealed his identity in the 2010 book Son of Hamas, stating that he had thwarted numerous Palestinian attacks and even ensured his father’s repeated arrests to prevent Israeli forces from assassinating him.
Calls for the Elimination of Hamas Leaders
Last year, Yousef publicly urged Israel to eradicate all Hamas leaders if hostages were not released, including his own father. This highlights his firm opposition to Hamas, despite his family ties.
