Vinod Kambli Ready To Undergo Rehab And ‘Comeback’ Amidst Poor Financial And Medical Conditions | Watch

Former Indian cricketer Vinod Kambli accepted Kapil Dev's offer to undergo rehabilitation and improve his finacial and physical conditions.

Former Indian cricketer Vinod Kambli has been under the headlines of the media due to various reasons. Kambli was among the most high rated all-rounders of the Indian team during his playing days but things took a 180 degree shift after the 1996 ODI World Cup semi-final against. The former Indian all-rounder is now dependent on the BCCI’s pension and has no other source of income. His bad habits and irresponsible behaviour towards cricket probably were the major reasons behind his sudden and unexpected downfall.

Vinod Kambli Ready To Accept Kapil Dev’s Offer

Former Indian cricketer Kapil Dev had offered help to Vinod Kambli if he wishes to come out of his ill habits. Now in a conversation with YouTube channel Vickey Lalwani, Kambli has accepted the offer of his former teammate and is ready undergo rehabilitation once again to come out of his ill habits. The former Indian cricketer has went through rehabilitation 14 times and is willing to go once if he is given the needed support to improve his financial and physical conditions.

He said, “But the manner in which my wife has handled everything, hats off to her. Gavaskar was the first to react. Sure, I have no hesitation (to enter rehab), because until I have my family with me, I’m not afraid of anything, anybody. I will complete it and return. I will come back.”

As per a report of 2022, Vinod Kambli earns about 30000 per month, which is the pension given to him by the BCCI. Recently a video appeared on the social media in which the former Indian cricketer wasn’t even able to walk properly, which shocked and worried his fans. Kambli also met Sachin Tendulkar during an event in Mumbai recently.
