Ben Duckett’s fiery 149 established the tone for the record chase, which was aided by strong knocks from Crawley and Root. The 1673 runs put together by both teams was the most ever in a Test between England and India. Yashasvi Jaiswal, Shubman Gill, KL Rahul, and Rishabh Pant (on two occasions) all come out to bat, but England completed a remarkable chase of 371 in the final day to claim victory by five wickets.
