RARE RECORD: Never Bowled A Single Delivery And Becomes The Cricketer With Most International Runs! Find Out Who He Is

The cricketer holds the record for the most runs in international cricket among players who have never bowled a single delivery and surpassed Adam Gilchrist.

Bangladesh star Mushfiqur Rahim had made the 12th century of his career in Tests and achieved it against Sri Lanka on the first Day of the opener of the series at the Galle International Stadium. Later, the veteran campaigner turned his innings into a 150-run-plus knock right after the lunch break, having scored 105* after facing just 186 balls by stumps on the first day of 2021-22. It is noteworthy that in the process of his recent batting clinic, Mushfiqur also set another historically uncommonly excellent mark in international cricket, surpassing even such a celebrated World Cup champion as the Australian Adam Gilchrist and super-fast South African stump Mike Quinton de Kock.

Mushfiqur Rahim Tops – Highest Runs, Didn’t Bowl Once

Mushfiqur Rahim is currently first in another exclusive list of the most runs between all the formats of the game, with no inclination to being a bowler. Bangladesh legend did this by smashing his 12th Test century, which he managed to achieve against Sri Lanka at the Galle grounds in the middle of June. Mushfiqur, now playing a haul of 15,509 runs without a bowling delivery to his name, surpassed Adam Gilchrist, a former Australian wicketkeeper-batter and thrice World Cup champion. These are three players who have the highest run count among international cricketers who are not balls.
