Eid Namaz: A Symbol Of Unity And Devotion
Namaz-e Eid is a central component of the Eid festivities, uniting the community in prayer and contemplation. This unique congregational prayer is comprised of two rakats (units of prayer) and ends with the Imam’s khutbah or sermon. The khutbah is in two sections which addresses both spiritual counseling and significant worldly issues providing wisdom and ethical teachings for the community.
