Three medical teams were organised to examine all tourists. During the day, a woman who had visited Gurudogmar Lake complained of acute headache and dizziness. A medical team from a neighbouring field hospital, including a female medical officer, hurried to the scene and discovered signs of Acute Mountain Sickness (AMS). She received prompt medical attention and was sent to the medical hospital’s intensive care unit (ICU). She was OK by the morning.

The troops’ rapid response prevented any mishaps and assured the comfort of the stranded tourists. Meanwhile, attempts are being made to open the road to vehicular traffic as soon as possible. The tourists will receive all necessary help till the path is cleared for their further excursion.
