Speaking to reporters, Abdullah said, “I believe this is the first time in our country that such a tragedy has happened. God knows how many people inside the building where this plane fell survived. This is very sad.” His heartfelt condolences went out to the families of the deceased, as he added, “I sympathise with the deceased and pray to God to give peace to their souls. Their families, who have suffered the most, I pray that they get the strength to bear this. It will not be easy for them to bear this irreparable loss.”

Abdullah emphasized the need for accountability and preventive measures moving forward. “We should take care that such a thing does not happen again. A thorough investigation should be done into this,” he urged. He also noted that the aircraft involved in the incident was relatively new, stating, “I think this was a new plane. I had not heard of any problem in these planes before.”
