Coronavirus Pandemic: Today there is news of relief for India regarding the global coronavirus pandemic. There has been a decline in the daily cases of coronavirus in the country today. Today less than 6 thousand new cases of Covid-19 have been reported in India.
In the last 24 hours, 5,554 new cases of coronavirus have been reported in the country, while 31 people died. Earlier on Friday, 6,093 new cases of coronavirus infection were registered in the country while 18 people died.
A decrease of 539 has been recorded in the daily number of newly infected Covid-19 patients as compared to yesterday.
According to the data released by the Ministry of Health this morning, 5,554 new cases of coronavirus infection have been reported in the country in the last 24 hours while 31 people have died. During this 6,322 people managed to beat the coronavirus pandemic.
With this, the number of active cases of coronavirus in the country has come down to 48 thousand 850. In the last 24 hours, there has been a decline in the number of active Covid-19 cases by 786. The daily positivity rate has gone up to 1.47 percent.
With this, the total number of corona infected in the country has increased to 4 crore 44 lakh 90 thousand 283. While the number of people recovering has increased to 4 crore 39 lakh 13 thousand 294.
At the same time, a total of 5 lakh 28 thousand 139 people have died due to corona virus infection in the country so far.
The government is emphasizing on vaccination to control the coronavirus pandemic. Till now the number of vaccination has reached 214 crore 77 lakh 55 thousand 21. At the same time, 21 lakh 63 thousand 811 people have been given the dose of corona vaccine in the last 24 hours.
