For the first 10 minutes of booking, only those passengers whose account is linked to Aadhaar will be allowed to book tickets. Agents will not be able to book tickets during this period. The purpose of this step is to prevent brokers and software bots and to get confirmed tickets to the common people.

The online process is simple, and a digital e-PAN card can be obtained in a few minutes by paying a fee of ₹ 107. This change has been made with the aim of preventing tax evasion and strengthening identity confirmation.

Real Name Will Now Be Visible In UPI payment

NPCI has implemented a new rule to reduce the incidence of fraud in UPI transactions. Under this, now while making UPI payment, the real name of the receiver (which is in the bank record) will be visible on the screen.

This will reduce the chances of money being transferred to the wrong account and online fraud can be controlled. This rule has been implemented on all UPI apps.

MG Cars Becomes Expensive

JSW-MG Motor India has increased the prices of all its models by up to 1.5%. The company has cited rising production costs and increase in the price of raw materials as the reason for this.

It is worth noting that the company had also increased the prices by up to 3% in January this year. This will put an additional burden on car buyers.

Commercial Gas Cylinder Becomes Cheaper

Giving relief to hotels, dhabas and other commercial consumers, oil companies have reduced the price of 19 kg commercial gas cylinder by Rs 58.50.

Now this cylinder will be available in Delhi for Rs 1665, whereas earlier its price was Rs 1723.50. In Mumbai it will be available for Rs 1616.50, earlier its price was Rs 1674.50. This will provide some financial relief to people associated with the food business.

These six new rules, which came into effect from July 1, will affect the financial condition of common people, travel, digital payments and identity-related processes. Some changes may increase expenses, while some are aimed at making the processes transparent and secure. Citizens are advised to be aware of these new rules and complete the necessary actions like Aadhaar linking etc. in time, so that no inconvenience is faced.
