Shefali Jariwala’s Husband Parag Tyagi Breaks Down Holding Her Ashes; Emotional Video Surfaces

Parag Tyagi was seen crying inconsolably as he held the ashes of his late wife Shefali Jariwala after her cremation.

Shefali Jariwala death has become a subject of utter despair amongst the fans of the famous ‘Kaata Laga’ song. The lead actress of the song Shefali Jariwala tragically passed away after suffering from a heart attack on June 27, 2025, at the age of 42.

Her funeral took place the following day, on Saturday, June 28, with several celebrities from television and film in attendance. Her funeral was attended by several friends and industry colleagues, including Arti Singh, Rashami Desai, and Vikas Gupta. Her husband Parag Tyagi, who was visibly heartbroken throughout the ceremony.

An emotional moment from the aftermath of the funeral is now going viral on social media. In the video, Parag is seen exiting the crematorium, holding the urn containing his late wife’s ashes tightly against his chest, while crying inconsolably.

Who Was Shefali Jariwala?

Shefali became a household name after her Music Video Kaanta Laga became a sensational hit. Beyond being a part of the popular song Shefali was also renowned for her participation in reality shows like Nach Baliye 5 and Nach Baliye 7 alongside Parag Tyagi. It was in 2019 that Shefali went to Big Boss. She also starred in the show ‘Shaitani Rasmein’.

Talking about films, Shefali was seen in the 2004 film ‘Mujhse Shaadi Karogi’ alongside Salman Khan, Akshay Kumar and Priyanka Chopra. She also starred in the 2011 Kannada film ‘Hudugaru’. She was also seen in the web series ‘Baby Come Naa’.
