Famous producer, director and actor Dheeraj Kumar took his last breath at the age of 79. He was admitted to Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital in Mumbai on Saturday evening. He was suffering from pneumonia. He took his last breath on Tuesday at 11:40 am. At the time of his death, his son Ashutosh Kumar was by his side. His family and team have confirmed the news.

Dheeraj Kumar’s Journey
Dheeraj Kumar started his career in the entertainment world in 1965. He became a finalist in a talent hunt in which Rajesh Khanna was the winner and Subhash Ghai was also participating. Between 1970 and 1984, he acted in 21 Punjabi films.
Dheeraj Kumar started a production house called ‘Creative Eye’, of which he was also the chairman and managing director. He was seen in the famous song ‘Ka Karun Sajni, Aaye Na Balam’ from the film ‘Swami’. Apart from this, he also appeared in films like ‘Heera Panna’ and ‘Raaton Ka Raja’.
His company produced many religious and family TV shows, among which serials like ‘Om Namah Shivay’ were special. He produced more than 35 TV shows, including popular programs like ‘Adalat’, ‘Mili’, and ‘Ghar Ki Laxmi Betiyan’, which received immense love from the audience.
Recently, Dheeraj Kumar participated in the inauguration of the ISKCON temple located in Kharghar, Navi Mumbai. He praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s efforts to spread Sanatan Dharma and said that he experienced deep spiritual peace by visiting the temple and the love of the people there touched his heart.
