Rashmika Mandanna is currently basking in the success of her movie ‘Pushpa 2’ and is gearing up for the release of ‘Chhaava’. Amid her fame and popularity, she has also been in the news due to her rumoured relationship with Vijay Deverakonda. They have worked together in two movies and fans absolutely loved their on-screen chemistry. In a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter India, Rashmika confirmed being in a relationship but did not mention her partner’s name.
While speaking about her happy place, Rashmika said that she is still a daughter, sister, and partner despite getting all the fame. She told The Hollywood Reporter India, “Home is my happy place. It makes me feel anchored, makes me feel rooted, makes me feel like success can come and go, but it’s not a forever. But home is forever. So, I work from that space. As much as the love and this fame and the visibility that I get, I still am just a daughter, just a sister, just a partner. I really respect that life, that personal life that I have. Right now, I am living in the best of both worlds, but I am someone who will guard this personal life with my own life.”
She also talked about the qualities she wants in her partner. The Chhaava star said, “They say eyes are the window to one’s soul. I think I believe in that, and I keep smiling, so I am drawn to people who have a smiley face. And, of course, someone who respects people around them no matter who they are.”
Earlier, Vijay Deverakonda also confirmed being in a relationship but said that he would talk about his dating life when the time feels right. He told Curly Tales, “I am 35 years old; you think I will be single?”

Rashmika and Vijay have worked together in ‘Geetha Govindam’ and ‘Dear Comrade’.
On the work front, Rashmika will next star in ‘Chhaava’ with Vicky Kaushal and Akshaye Khanna. The movie will hit the theatres on February 14, 2025.
