War 2 has created massive hype ever since YRF announced that Telugu superstar Jr NTR has joined the franchise. Hrithik Roshan will now go against the RRR star in War 2 and its teaser is finally out. Produced by Aditya Chopra’s Yash Raj Films, War 2 is directed by Ayan Mukerji. Apart from Hrithik and Jr NTR, the movie also stars Kiara Advani.
But it hasn’t made the impact fans were hoping for. The teaser has sparked widespread trolling, with many slamming Yash Raj Films (YRF) for lackluster visuals, repetitive themes, and underwhelming execution.

Social media has been flooded with memes and harsh critiques, where some expressed that the teaser is average. One user commented, “Hrithik Roshan ka role samjhao ek, dialouge nehi hai kiya yeh (Explain Hrithik Roshan’s role there’s not even a single dialogue).”
Another compared the teaser to an advertisement, saying, “Teaser look like mountain dew new add, next biggest flop from Bollywood.)
Netizens slammed the poster and commented, “Fan made posters are literally better than this”, “All Spy Universe posters look the same” where as others were disappointed with the VFX quality.
YRF’s Spy Universe has produced hits including War, Pathaan, and Tiger 3 and expectations were sky high from War 2. Some users even compared the War 2 teaser with the Salman Khan’s Tiger.

War 2, is the sequel of 2019 blockbuster War, set to hit the theatres on August 14, 2025.
