‘Hera Pheri 3’ made the audience excited with the news of the OG trio, Akshay Kumar, Paresh Rawal and Suniel Shetty, returning to the franchise. However, fans were left disappointed when Paresh Rawal announced his exit from Hera Pheri 3, and it also led to Akshay Kumar sending him a legal notice. Paresh Rawal has now confirmed his return to Hera Pheri 3, and Priyadarshan revealed that he was shocked to know about this news.
While speaking to Mid-Day, Priyadarshan revealed, “Both Akshay and Paresh called to say that everything is sorted. I was in shock when Paresh said, ‘Sir, I’m doing the movie’. He added, ‘I have never had anything except a lot of respect for you. I’ve done 26 movies with you, and I’m sorry to have left the film. There were some personal issues.’ He said that Akshay, Suniel, and he met cordially and sorted it out.”
Earlier, while talking about the controversy around his exit from Hera Pheri 3, Paresh Rawal told Himanshu Mehta on his podcast, “Nahi controversy kuch nahi hai (There’s no controversy). I believe that when people have loved something so much, then you have to be extra careful. It is our responsibility toward the audience. The audience has given you so much adulation. You can’t take things for granted. Mehnat karke unko do (Work hard and give them the film).”
He added, “So I was of the opinion that sab saath mein aaye, mehnat karein. Aur kuch nahin (Everyone should come together, work hard). It is all resolved now.”
Further confirming his return to the third part of this franchise, Paresh Rawal said, “Pehle bhi aane hi waali thi (Earlier too the film was scheduled to release), but it’s just that we had to fine-tune ourselves. After all, all of them are creative, be it Priyadarshan, Akshay or Suniel. They are friends for many, many, many years.”
Not much has been revealed about the release date and the other cast of Hera Pheri 3.
