Samay Raina who was in headlines way back for controversy around his show ‘India’s got latent’ has recently took to social media to express his respect and emotions for the Indian Armed Forces following the ongoing India- Pakistan conflict.
On a late-nigh Instagram story he shared details of the phone call that he had with his father, who is currently in Jammu.
Samay Raina On India-Pakistan Conflict
Samay’s post seems to be a mixture of fear, pride and gratitude. Taking to Instagram stories, he wrote, “My father calls me one last time tonight from Jammu to say goodnight. His voice, steady and calm, urges me to sleep and not worry—the Indian armed forces have everything under control. His calmness quiets my restless thoughts. I switch off the lights in my Mumbai home and walk to the window to draw the curtains. Outside my window, my neighbor’s lights still glow. I know little about him, that’s just how it is here. I wonder if he, too, has family in Jammu, perhaps in Pathankot or if he might be the son of a brave soldier, who won’t sleep tonight, waiting for a morning call from his father on the front lines. My utmost respect to the armed forces and their families for all the sacrifices they make for our safety. Goodnight. Jai Hind”.

Attacks Foiled By India’s Air Defence
This came after the attacks launched by Pakistan on Thursday evening targeted several locations of India including the Jammu civil airport and key military stations. However, India’s S-400 air defence system has successfully failed all of the incoming threats with no causalities informed yet.
These attacks came just a day after India launched precision airstrikes on terror launchpads in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir under Operation Sindoor.
