Ayushmann Khurrana and Tahira Kashyap are some of the most loved couples in Bollywood and never fail to make their fans go gaga with their adorable posts. The couple is celebrating their 16th wedding anniversary and posted their old wedding pictures. Ayushmann and Tahira reflected on their journey as a married couple together as they looked back at their wedding photos.
Sharing the pictures, Tahira wrote, “It has been quite a journey! From Shri Ganesh portraits, red zebra flowers as backdrop, contrived poses… kaafi lambi journey rahi hai… Happy Anniversary @ayushmannk (making up for wishing you on a wrong date last year) “When you celebrate cringe you truly are in love”- Tahira.”
In an interview with India Today, Tahira revealed she broke up with Ayushmann after his Roadies success. She said, “I was a strong-headed woman. I have always been one. I didn’t reach much into what Ayushmann said. However, I must add that this is why we have lasted for so long. We both respect each other’s individuality. We have always done that and continue to do so.”
She added, “It can go either way. I am not a professional relationship counsellor and I have never had another relationship, so I cannot comment on that. But, I think it all depends on how you are growing, and your interests. As you grow, you become your own person and develop different passions and tastes. With God’s grace, we have a lot of commonalities and enjoy common things. Apart from that, we also bond over our love for storytelling and our kids. I must also add that I still find him funny. Many may find his PJs no longer hilarious, but I think they are amazing.”
On the work front, Ayushmann will next star in ‘Thama’ with Rashmika Mandanna, Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Paresh Rawal.
