New Delhi: Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan is set to make a mark into the business world. He is ready to launch his maiden vodka brand in India. Days before, Aryan Khan has announced that he was making his film debut as a director. Now Jr. SRK is planning to launch a premium vodka brand along with his partners.
For this venture, he has partnered with the world’s largest brewing company. According to media reports, in addition to launching a premium vodka brand, Aryan and his two partners, Bunty Singh and Leti Blagoeva, also have plans to enter the market for brown spirits. In order to do this, they established a business called Slab Ventures, which has teamed up with the regional division of Anheuser-Busch InBev (AB InBev), the largest brewer in the world, for marketing and distribution purposes.
Aryan Khan to Launch Vodka brand in India
Aryan Khan told Mint, “We thought there was a kind of a void in the current space. And when there’s a void, there’s an opportunity, and I think businesses are all about opportunity.”
Aryan further said, “The thought was to kind of combine high quality, a youthful disruptive vision, and cool aesthetics, and bring it under one roof, and by doing that, appeal to the more mature, discerning consumers as well as the younger generation.”
Reports say, Slab Ventures is focusing on the wealthier consumers in the nation and intends to diversify even more by entering additional high-end consumer markets, such as alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, clothing, and accessories.
Aryan posted last week on Instagram that he will be making his directorial and showrunning debut with a series that he had developed. All parties, including Shah Rukh Khan’s father, expressed their happiness upon hearing the news. Aryan frequently claims that he has no interest in performing, in contrast to his father. Aryan is expanding into commercial opportunities, though, just like his father did.
