CBSE Supplementary Practical Exams 2025 From July 10: Full Details Inside

The practical examinations will be conducted from July 10 to July 15 for Class 10 and Class 12 students eligible and classified in Compartment mode and the following status.

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has provided comprehensive instructions for conducting practical exams along with Supplementary Examinations (2025). The practical examinations will be conducted from July 10 to July 15 for Class 10 and Class 12 students eligible and classified in Compartment mode and the following status.

Who Will Be Attempting Practical Exams?

Class 12 students: Students classified Repeat in Practical (RP) will be eligible to attempt only a practical exam in the Supplementary programme with the ability to retain the theory scores originating from their prior attempt.

Class 10 students: Students classified Repeat in Theory and Practical Both (RB) will be eligible to appear for both theory and practical in the supplementary examination.

Appointment Of Examiners

Class 12: External examiners will be appointed by the Regional Offices and internal examiners will be from the schools.

Class 10: Schools will handle all arrangements internally and if necessary, the Regional Offices will perform this role for external examiners.

Key Dates By July 7, 2025

A student must report to their school or exam centre with their result copy as well as their admit card.

Uploading Practical Marks

Marks must be uploaded by schools or centres on the same day as the exam occurs. Marks cannot be changed once uploaded.

Answer Books

Only answer books supplied by CBSE Regional Offices shall be used. All entries must be filled in properly and accurately by the examiners.

Responsibilities Of Schools And Regional Offices

Schools will have to prepare examinees list by subject and liaise with the Regional Office for the on-time appointment of examiners.

Regional Offices will maintain centre-wise and subject-wise examiners list, appoint external examiners when required and oversee the administration of the exam schedule and the submission of results.
