Mumbai: Stunt For Instagram Reel Goes Wrong! Car Plunges Into 300-Foot Gorge In Satara, Driver Injured

The driver, 20-year-old Sahil Anil Jadhav, a resident of Karad, sustained injuries in the incident. He was immediately admitted to a hospital in Karad, where he is currently undergoing treatment.

Mumbai: A horrifying video of the car falling into a deep ditch in Patan Sadawaghapur area of Satara district in Maharashtra has surfaced. The incident was filmed when a group of boys, who had reportedly come to visit the area attempted car stunts on the steep slope of the plateau for an Instagram reel. In the video, the car can be seen slipping on the grass covered slope before plunging into a 300-feet deep gorge.

Fortunately, four other individuals who were in the car had stepped out for a photoshoot just before the accident, which saved their lives. As soon as news of the incident was received, a rescue operation was launched. With the help of locals, rescuers descended into the ditch and successfully brought the driver back.

Patan police has registered a case in connection with the incident. The video has shocked everyone and raised serious concerns about the growing trend of dangerous stunts being performed by youth for social media videos/ reel/ content.
