Jodhpur: A harrowing incident emerged from Rajasthan on late Tuesday night in which a family of four was brutally murdered. The gruesome incident has left the police as well as the people living in th vicinity draped within a sense of fear. The gory visuals of the incident are enough to send chills up your spine.
The incident has emerged from Jodhpur’s Cherai village which comes under the jurisdiction of the Osian police station area. According to preliminary information, an innocent girl along with a man and two women of a family living in ‘Gangaani ki Dhani’ area which comes under Ramnagar gram panchayat were murdered in a despicable manner as their throats were slit and they were left to die.
Meanwhile, the accused, after murdering the family of four also razed down their hut to ground. The fire also draped the dead bodies that were lying within the house. The police officials rushed to the spot as soon as they received the information regarding the gory incident.

Hundreds gather to witness aftermath of the murder
As soon as the news of the gruesome murder spread on Wednesday morning, hundreds of people gathered on the spot. Everyone was shocked by the manner in which an innocent girl child, two women and a man were murdered.
Meanwhile, the bodies of the Poonaram Bairad (55), his wife Bhanwaridevi (50), daughter-in-law Dhapu (24) and seven-month-old granddaughter have been found. Seeing the seriousness of the matter, Collector Himanshu Gupta, Superintendent of Police Dharmendra Singh Yadav and other officers reached the spot. Along with FSL, Dog Squad, DST is also involved in the investigation.
The gruesome incident also serves as a reminder for the society that such incidents are incubated within a psychopathic mindsets. Police officials are trying to apprehend the accused based on the trails of evidence and new information emerging during the investigation.
