She said things started to fall apart after her daughter was born. Expenses like the NICU, her recovery, and other baby-related costs added up. Allan said she shut down emotionally and relied on credit cards to manage. “We weren’t living lavishly. We were just surviving,” she said. But the debt kept growing. And then ChatGPT became her Friend and advisor for a month.

Tips That AI Chatbot Gave!

ChatGPT gave Allan one task every day to help her save or earn some money. Some tasks were cancelling a paid subscription, checking for unclaimed money, or selling things on Facebook Marketplace. It also told her to look for coins in old bags and between sofa cushions. She found around $100 this way. ChatGPT also told her to check her apps and accounts. When she did, Allan found over $10,000 in a brokerage account and apps like Venmo. “I’m super, super happy with that. I’ve essentially paid half of my debt off,” Allan said in a clip posted to her TikTok account.
