Royal Enfield has been planning to launch a slew of new motorcycles to revamp their line up. While the brand has showcased its keen interest in developing new sub1000 cc bikes to increase its grasp overseas, and beyond that the brand has also showcased keen interest in bringing in new Electric bikes in tier line up. we have compiled a list of new Royal Enfield that would soon be making it to the Royal Enfield Showrooms.
Royal Enfield Flying Flea
Royal Enfield has been planning to grasp new emerging markets outside of India. Hence the brand has been hard at work, producing some of the most high tech new offerings that would become the go to choice for Foreign buyers. The Flying flea has been one such Vehicle. The vehicle showcased at CES and it displayed the technological advances that have been taken from Snapdragon.
The Flying Flea
The Flying Flea is one of the first motorcycles to integrate such technology via the Snapdragon Car To Cloud Platform. Mario Alvisi, The Chief Growth officer of Royal Enfield spoke on the matter. He talked about how most of the tech that goes in the Flying Flea has been developed by Royal Enfield themselves but the integration of the Snapdragon Qualcomm technologies is a significant step towards the future of the company. Such a step as per, Mario Alvisi would help the brand bring a unique and differentiated product experience.
CES’s New Innovation The Snapdragon QWM2290 SoC
The QWM2290 SoC has been specifically designed to support EV two wheelers. The chip would play an integral role in empowering the vehicle control unit, running an inhouse operating system developed by flying flea. Such advanced integration and operating system allows the user to manage all aspects of their bike and its ride through the interactive true round TFT cluster.
Interceptor 750, Continental GT 750
The internet is flooded with reports of new 750cc bikes that would be launching soon. Royal Enfield has been working closely to launch the all new . There have been a few sightings of possibly a new engine being tested by Royal Enfield. This would be one of the most powerful bikes in the whole lineup. The Continental GT might be launched with a new Cafe racer style fairing that has been seen on the vehicle being tested.
With the upcoming Auto Expo 2025 its possible that the brand might disclose some of its new launches there. But if you are planning to Buy a new Royal Enfield maybe a little bit of wait would get you a better deal as, prices of older models might be subject to change with new launches.
Royal Enfield Himalayan Electric
The Himalayan has been the cornerstone of India’s adventure touring motorcycle segment, this time around the bike has been spotted in a Electric avatar. Going by the images that have surfaced online, the bike was seen with a new seat that extends till the tank the battery units were placed where the engine usually sits in a ICE model of the Himalayan.
The Other stand out features that we could see were a large tank that would probably be an air duct for the battery system. Royal Enfield seems to have left no stones unturned to make the bike a profound adventure classic as it had an oHlins Monoshock at the rear with heavy duty Nissin Fancy Petal Discs on both ends.
Lithium Ion batteries that are generally used in electric vehicles succumb to extreme cold temperatures and loose charge, it’s possible that the testing spree was organized to test the drop in battery charge levels only.
The main frame as well as the Subframe of the bike also seemed like custom aluminum units rather than a trellis frame that is generally used in sports bikes. The Himlayan 750 is expected to pack a newly developed 750cc engine that would be able tp produce a power output of 5 to 55Ps power. Since the bike would have to go through arduous off-roading the bike has been given a tweak chassis that would be able to easily withstand the off-roading duties that the bike is subjected to. Since the bike has been fully tested at the high altitude of Khar -Dung lA it would be fair to point out that the vehicle might be near its launch.
